Starting therapy is a meaningful decision. These answers offer a clear sense of what individual therapy, couples therapy, and secure online sessions can look like.

Individual Therapy

Therapy may be useful when anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, emotional distance, relationship pain, or a persistent feeling of being stuck begins to limit your life. You do not need to be in crisis.

Psychodynamic therapy looks beneath immediate symptoms to understand the emotional and relational patterns that keep repeating, including how you protect yourself, handle closeness, and understand who you are.

Common areas include anxiety, stress, developmental trauma, attachment concerns, shame, self-criticism, perfectionism, emotional reactions, and relationship patterns.

We begin by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and the patterns that feel most important. The early sessions clarify our focus and fit.

The length depends on your needs, goals, and the depth of the patterns you want to address. We will revisit the direction together as the work unfolds.

Couples Therapy

Couples often seek therapy when they keep returning to the same conflict, feel emotionally distant, struggle to repair after hurt, or want more security and connection. You do not have to wait until the relationship is in crisis.

Couples work is informed by PACT Level 3 training, attachment theory, neurobiology, and psychodynamic thinking. We pay attention to how each partner reacts, protects, reaches, withdraws, and responds under stress.

The relationship is the focus. Both partners’ experiences matter, and the goal is to understand the pattern that takes over between you. At times I may challenge either partner in service of honesty, safety, and mutual responsibility.

Yes. Therapy can create a steadier place to understand what has happened, what each partner wants, and whether repair is possible. The aim is clarity, not forcing a particular outcome.

Progress is supported by a willingness to slow down the cycle, notice your own part in it, speak honestly, and remain curious about your partner’s experience.

Online Therapy

Yes. Secure teletherapy sessions are available to clients located in Florida. Online sessions offer access to depth-oriented individual and couples therapy from a private, comfortable setting.

Many people find online therapy focused, personal, and effective. Fit depends on your needs, privacy, comfort with technology, and the kind of support you are seeking.

Yes. It can work well when both partners have reliable internet, a private space, and a device positioned so both people can be seen clearly.

You will need reliable internet, a camera and microphone, and a private location where you can speak freely. Headphones may add privacy. Please join from within the state where your therapist is licensed.

We will agree on a simple backup plan before beginning, such as reconnecting or continuing briefly by phone when appropriate, while protecting your privacy and continuity of care.
